Eligibility
Applicants must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student of a university that is a member of The International Alliance of Research Universities (IARU) or UTokyo's Strategic Partner universities with a Student Exchange Agreement.

Cancellation of the 2020 UTokyo Global Summer Program
Because of the impact worldwide of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we have taken the difficult decision to cancel this year’s UTokyo Global Summer Program, due to take place in June and July 2020. We are working on plans for Summer 2021, and will post information about dates and provisional content around Autumn.

JPY 75,000 per course (Approx. USD 700)
The program fee must be paid in full after admission is confirmed in April by credit card ONLY.

3) Grading scale (if not mentioned in the above official transcript)
4) Proof(s) of Language Proficiency

5) Color ID photo, plain background (taken within the last 3 months)
6) Passport copy (pages showing passport number and face photo required)

Language Requirement
UTokyo GSP will be taught in English. For students whose first language is not English or who are enrolled in an educational institution where English is not the primary language of instruction, submission of an official certificate that shows the following level of language proficiency is required.
TOEFL iBT 90 or above
IELTS 6.5 or above
Cambridge English Qualifications "C1 Advanced"
*Only an official unexpired score certificate is accepted.
*TOEFL(iBT) “MyBest scores” is not accepted.
If you do not have an English language certificate but are currently enrolled in a program where the primary language of instruction is English, please submit an official letter attesting your English language skills
