Tuition fees
Tuition fees for international students for the 2020-21 Academic Year are shown below. For details please check here. Tuition fees for the 2021-22 academic year (September 2021 intake) for international students will be announced by June 2021.
These fees cover tuition for 1 academic year and registration and also allows full use of the library, computer laboratories, and infirmary services. It does not cover other campus services such as dormitories. Tuition fees may increase every year in line with inflation.
*Tuition for Academic Year 2021/22 for Turkish Citizenship students placed through the National University Entrance Exam system (ÖSYM) will be announced in June 2021 and the information will be published on adaylar.ku.edu.tr
Scholarships for international students
Koç University evaluates automatically all new undergraduate international candidates and international undergraduate transfer candidates for full (100%) or partial (50%) tuition-only scholarships on the basis of academic merit.
How to apply for a scholarship?
Merit scholarships are awarded on the consideration of all academic and extra-curricular documents and information that demonstrate outstanding performance and potential. There are no specific test scores or GPAs that automatically award a full or partial merit scholarship.
Please note there can be no reconsiderations of scholarship decisions so refrain from contacting the Admissions Committee or other Koç University units to request a re-evaluation of your admission or scholarship offer decision.
What do our scholarships cover?
Undergraduate international or international transfer scholarships cover full or partial tuition fees for each academic year and are awarded for the duration of the undergraduate program (4 years or 6 years for Medicine). There is no specific academic requirement to maintain the scholarship and scholarship holders are subject to the academic and discipline regulations of Koç University undergraduate students.
If you are awarded a Koç University Scholarship you are not eligible to apply to any other Koç University-funded financial aid or scholarships during your studies (eg. dormitory, books, living expenses, or further tuition scholarships).
You should ensure that, before accepting a partial Koç University Offer of Admission and Scholarship Offer, you will be able to pay your remaining tuition each semester and cover your living expenses in full as an international student.

We strongly encourage all international undergraduate applicants to also submit an application to the Turkish Scholarships program (except for Medicine and Nursing) as these are awarded for 100% tuition waivers and include dormitory accommodation, monthly stipend, flights, and other benefits that are not available from Koç University’s own merit-based scholarships for international students. Dormitory fees

Click on the link below to see the 2020-21 Academic year dormitory fees for two (2) semesters and shown in Turkish Lira (TL). Prices per student range from 13.000 TL for a quadruple room to 35.300 TL for a single room with an en-suite bathroom.
The fees for the 2021-22 academic year will be published in Summer 2021. Please always refer to the Dormitory website for up to date price information.
Please note that all first-year students are guaranteed a dormitory place if they indicate this on the online application form and complete the housing application form once they have received an offer letter and their Koç University Student Information System (KUSIS) ID number and login details.
