The work schedule for this position is:

The EUM will be required to travel annually to approximately 100 locations throughout Indonesia to monitor the use of 250-300 donated items. Some locations are remote and will require evening and weekend travel, with great possibility of delays in air, boat and land travel due to weather conditions and limited infrastructure.


Incumbent helps to support the monitoring and evaluation needs of Embassy Jakarta's International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) section composed of one Foreign Service Officer (FSO) section head, one Foreign Service National (FSN) program specialist, one administrative assistant FSN, one FSN financial administrative assistant, and one eligible family member (EFM) grants management specialist.  The employee is rated by the FSN program specialist and reviewed by the INL Director.  Incumbent undertakes necessary planning and administrative tasks to ensure adequate monitoring and evaluation of items procured with International Narcotics Control and Law Enforcement (INCLE) funding.  Works with law enforcement and grantees to coordinate, conduct, and document End Use Monitoring (EUM) visits.  Collates and enters EUM data into the ILMS database.  Drafts the annual EUM report.  Supports law enforcement partners who do not have attachés resident at Post by providing logistical and administrative support such as booking hotels or training venues, organizing travel itinerary, arranging for translators, etc. Assists with procurement of items for U.S. and Indonesian law enforcement partners when required.

Qualifications and Evaluations



A minimum of three years prior work experience in grants or contract management including program monitoring and evaluation and/or end use check responsibilities is required.

(Please note that one credited year of working experience is equal to 40 hours/week x 52 weeks or 2080 hours.)


Education Requirements:

A minimum of two years of college or university (60 semester hours) studies is required.


LANGUAGE:  Fluent in speaking/writing/Reading in English and Indonesian are required. This may be tested.


Must have the ability to use standard business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and solid communication skills.

Agency Benefits:

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
