Healthy Rich Writing Contest 2021

Healthy Rich Writing Contest 2021

Healthy Rich Co. is a project founded by Dana Sitar, a personal finance writer, editor and writing teacher. They publish stories that illuminate the diversity of our relationships with work and money and guides to help you understand finances, take control of your money and love the work you do.

This contest is the first in a series of writing contests dedicated to publishing essays about work and money, all written by budding writers whose voices we don’t hear enough of, like people of color, women, LGBTQ+ and people with disabilities. Their mission is to make work — good work — for writers. That means you get published, get paid, connect with a mentor and join a community that helps you take the next steps in your career

They know from experience that, as a green writer, a chance to get published and paid is incredible. But those single opportunities are fleeting. Good editors and a strong network are some of the best tools for moving forward. They built those tools into this contest through free mentorship and community membership, so publication with Healthy Rich is more than just another clip — it’s a way to build your career.
