The work schedule for this position is:

  • Full Time (48 number of hours per week)

Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Drivers for the Facility Management crews from the warehouse throughout the job sites to drop off the workers and to purchase materials needed for the works, and in the afternoon to pick up the workers and bring them back to the warehouse. Ensure the vehicles are always on good condition by doing vehicle maintenance as necessary. Assigned to assist with the maintenance crew as needed. Other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Evaluations


EXPERIENCE:  2 years driving experience as a driver and/or 2 years of experience as bus or truck driver.

JOB KNOWLEDGE:  Familiar with Jakarta traffic regulations, good knowledge of Jakarta metropolitan area roads and locations of government offices and foreign embassies.

Education Requirements:

  • Completion of Secondary School or Local Mandatory Schooling and received high school diploma


LANGUAGE (this may be tested):  Level II (Limited Knowledge) reading/writing/speaking of English is required.  Level III (Good Working Knowledge) reading/writing/speaking of Bahasa Indonesia is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be able to drive all types of vehicles; perform regular preventive maintenance checks to include adding water and oil as necessary and check tires for condition and proper inflation level. Must have B1 valid driving license.

Agency Benefits:

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Jakarta, Indonesia may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
