Our team

Flourish is the world’s leading data storytelling platform. It enables anyone to create beautiful graphics and interactive stories without coding. Since its launch in 2018, more than 750,000 registered users have produced around 10 million graphics, which have racked up more than 20 billion views. Our customers range from leading newsrooms and corporations to NGOs, universities and government departments all over the world. 

Flourish was recently acquired by Canva to empower the world to tell stories with data. Our team, mostly based in London, will continue growing Flourish as a separate product while also adding more data storytelling features natively in Canva.

Support and Content @ Flourish

The Flourish support and content team sits between the Flourish product and our customers. We know the product inside-out and make sure everyone gets the most out of it, whether that’s through finding ways to make things work, sharing knowledge with our users, or offering inspiration and education.

Our goal is to empower our users to design with data and improve their data visualization skills. We do this by offering expert advice and support, creating helpful and inspiring blog posts and help docs, and creating content for social media and webinars.

We have two tracks within the team (support and content) but work in close collaboration with each other and other teams. That can be through testing new features and fixing smaller bugs in collaboration with the product team or supporting the commercial team through impressive pre-sales projects and technical demos. We’re a close-knit team and value honesty and fun.

We’re always happy to help each other understand challenging tasks and support each other however we can. And we love having after-work events for the whole team to get together and celebrate our wins!

What you'll do

You’ll be a content moderator in our support and content team, helping identify harmful and unlawful content before it reaches other users.

Help us discover great content. Every day, thousands of users create inspiring content that we’d like to share with the Flourish community. You’ll help us identify especially creative and newsworthy content that we can utilize across our blogs, site and social media channels.

Help ensure legal compliance and safety. Ensuring legal compliance and safety of content uploaded to Flourish and deleting content that doesn’t comply. You’ll coordinate with supervising departments for a timely management of content that violates our regulations and help define whether our policies are capturing the type of content that is surfacing.

Support our users. You’ll help the support team deal with support queries and user deletions requests. Through your experience in moderating content uploaded to Flourish, you’ll know what kinds of content people are creating and will be able to support our users and provide feedback on improvements to enhance user experience.

What we're looking for

You’re a quick learner, technically minded and excited by data visualization. You think logically, like solving problems and have a good eye for detail. You may have relevant experience in customer service, though experience with data visualization and Flourish count too.

You’re positive, friendly, helpful and happy in a user-facing role. You’re an excellent communicator in written and spoken English, whether emailing non-technical customers or chatting to others on the team. We have users all over the world, so any additional languages would be a bonus.

You’re well organized, proactive and know how to prioritize without being micromanaged. You’ll be happy spinning multiple plates and you’ll be able to work in a fast-moving environment and see how your ideas work at scale.
