Scholarships at Flinders

A wide range of University, government and non-government scholarships are available to domestic students commencing study in 2021. Selection is normally based on academic merit and demonstrated need.

Once you have enrolled in topics at Flinders University, you can apply for scholarships and scholarship groups that you may be eligible for via the Student System

You can search for scholarships at any time to see which ones you are eligible for, and you are able to apply for scholarships once you have enrolled at Flinders.  Make sure you check the scholarship eligibility criteria and rules carefully as you will only be considered if you meet all of the criteria. Scholarship rules and eligibility criteria can be found in the scholarships database. Before applying for a scholarship, make sure you have all of your supporting documentation in order.  


To apply for a scholarship: 

  1. Log in to the Student System via your Flinders dashboard
  2. Click on the ‘My Scholarships’ tab at the top of the screen  
  3. Select the scholarship group (scholarships with similar eligibility criteria may be grouped together in the Student System)
  4. Complete the application as required and attached all relevant supporting documentation
  5. Submit your application

You will be notified of the outcome of your application via your Flinders email account.

External (non-Flinders) scholarships

As a Postgraduate student you have the opportunity to access leading Universities overseas through a number of highly respected scholarship programs.

These scholarship programs will enhance your studies, research and ability to have real world impact, with many also offering opportunities to develop your leadership skills. You will also be engaged in a supportive community with other students from around the world.
