We’re looking for a highly experienced Executive Communications Manager to support communications efforts for Meta leadership. The ideal candidate will have a diverse portfolio of written material that underscores their ability to convey complicated or nuanced topics in simple but elegant prose for a variety of audiences. This individual excels at working collaboratively with executives and colleagues alike and consistently delivers high-quality work even under extreme time constraints. We want someone who is deeply curious and can come up with thought-provoking ideas, turn beautiful copy on tight deadlines, and challenge us to be better.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally internally and externally to outline and develop impactful speeches, keynote presentations, talking points, social media posts, narratives, opinion pieces and other written materials. Internal cross-functional teams include the Communications, Policy, Marketing, Sales, Product, Platform, and Monetization teams on an international scale. Externally, this includes working with agencies, conference organizers, industry associations and with clients on tailored engagements
  • Partner with a designer to help develop complementary visuals and videos for speaking engagements and meetings
  • Research and package content from internal and external resources to develop insightful and engaging written pieces that fit the authentic style of leadership
  • Proactively develop industry-leading content for delivery at high profile events
  • Work closely with the communications team to identify new opportunities for executives and to maximize their impact
  • Oversee the development of social media content and draft posts

    Qualification 
    • 10+ years speech writing experience for leaders in business, government, or non-profits
    • Experience adapting key messaging to the style and voice of senior executives
    • Project management and decision-making skills
    • Self-directed, proactive and energetic, interested working among a nimble team
    • Track record of developing high profile speeches or communications for senior figures either with large companies, government, communications agencies or the media. Including research, writing and editing skills
