University of Valencia Spain Bachelor and Master Degree Scholarship 2023 for International Student

 


University of Valencia Spain offers varieties of scholarship both bachelor and master degree for international student from around the world. Here some scholarship we recommend : 

1. Ministry of Education Scholarship

To be eligible you must

  • Not be in possession or be in legal disposition to obtain a degree of the same or higher level corresponding to the studies in which you are applying for a grant.
  • Meet the basic requirements established in the Spanish Royal Decree 1721/2007 and those set forth in this call.
  • Be enrolled in one of the courses of study in the Spanish university system listed in article 3 of this call for applications.
  • Be Spanish or have the nationality of a Member State of the European Union. In the case of citizens of the European Union or their family members, it will be required that they have the status of permanent residents or that they can prove that they are self-employed or employed. These requirements will not be required in order to obtain the enrolment grant.

In the case of non-EU students, the provisions of the regulations on the rights and freedoms of foreigners in Spain and their social integration shall apply.

Eligible study programmes

Grants are awarded to an undetermined number of recipients in the following study programmes:

  • Post-compulsory and higher non-university education in the Spanish education system and valid throughout the national territory.
  • University studies of the Spanish university system, studied in Spanish centres and valid throughout the national territory.
  • This call does not include grants for studies corresponding to the third cycle or doctoral programmes, specialisation studies or university specific degrees.

2. Valencian Government Scholarship 

General requirements


The following requirements must be met for the award of this scholarship:

  • Be Spanish or having the nationality of a state member of the European Union. In the case of citizens of the Union or their families, beneficiaries of the rights of freedom of movement and residence, it is required to have the status of permanent residency or to prove that they are workers or self-employed persons. The spouse or partner in a registered partnership, as well as dependent direct ascendants and dependent direct descendants under 21 years of age, shall be considered “family members”. In the event of non-EU nationals, the provisions of the regulations on the rights and freedoms of foreigners in Spain and their social integration shall apply.
  • Prove the registration of residency in any municipality of the Valencian Community.
  • Studying official university degrees that are referred to in Article 2, point 1, or if applicable, point 3 of this Order in universities of the Valencian Community.
  • Not be in possession or meet the legal requirements to obtain a degree of the same or higher level than that corresponding to the studies for which the scholarship is being applied for. To this end, students who only need to accredit a certain level of knowledge of a foreign language in order to obtain the degree may not be beneficiaries of the scholarship.
  • Meet the economic and academic requirements that are stablished in this order.

Included studies


The scholarship may be applied for in any of the following studies:

  • University studies adapted to the European Higher Education leading to official bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
  • Complementary training to access or obtain a master's degree, bachelor's degree or to continue official degree studies.

Exemptions or grants for third cycle studies, doctorate, specialisation studies or non official degrees are nor included in this scholarship.

Nature and amount of the scholarships


For the students enrolled in public universities the scholarship will consist of the exemption of the payment of the amount of the enrolled credits. This amount will be stablished in the decree of the Counsel that stablishes the fees to be paid for the provision of the university academic services, for the academic year indicated in the call for applications.

In all the cases the scholarship will only cover the credits enrolled by the students in the first or second registration, without prejudice to the provisions of Article 4 of this Order.

The credits that exceed the minimum required to obtain the degree in question are not included in this scholarship.

The amount of the scholarship shall not include any exemptions or reductions of the aforementioned fees to which the beneficiary is entitled.

The exemption of the university academic services fees will only reach the courses or credits in which the student is enrolled, in first or second registration, in a single degree and specialty.
