About this course
With respect to the general objective, this study aimed to determine a five-module self-paced course that offers an inclusive teaching framework with multiple entry points for reflection and exploration of research on learning and diversity in early childhood education settings in rural areas. Based on the general objective of understanding the experiences of students and instructors, including our own, we invite you to explore strategies for inclusive course design, student-centered pedagogical practices, facilitating learning across differences, and initiatives that support student engagement, achievement, and a sense of belonging. Design a course with the objective of exploring the relationship between teaching and learning strategies in diverse classrooms, focusing on inclusive practices and educational management.
You will explore:
- Your early experiences as a student, instructor, and part of a field of study.
- Good ways and activities that can help you talk clearly, lead conversations, and show everyone is welcome when things come up that weren't planned.
- Research frameworks and models that help understand why and how diversity and inclusion matter in teaching and learning practices.
- The research on MOOCs clearly aims to determine the relationship between educational management and teaching strategies, focusing on the initial levels of preventive educational institutions in rural areas. We encourage you to reach out to a colleague or friend and invite them to take the course with you.
