Purpose of the Consultancy:
The engagement will be responsible for reporting, documentation and supporting the Logistics Management Divisions to handle all the supplies properly and in rolling out capacity building activities for UNICEF-supported areas in Regions 8, 9 and possibly BARMM. The consultant will be based at the DOH working closely with Logistic Management Division and Child Health Development Division. From UNICEF, the consultant will work under the overall guidance of the Nutrition Manager and direct supervision of Nutrition Specialist, and very closely collaborate with the UNICEF Supply Chain and Procurement Officer..

Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
The selected candidate is solely responsible to ensure that the visa (applicable) and health insurance required to perform the duties of the contract are valid for the entire period of the contract. The candidate may also be subject to inoculation (vaccination) requirements, including against SARS-CoV-2 (Covid).
