YouTube Marketing’s mission is to know our users, and to connect them to the magic of our products and creators. We make YouTube successful by shaping people’s perceptions of YouTube and inspiring them to engage with us. We’re also responsible for all of YouTube’s marketing activities to consumers, creators, and key opinion influencers.
As a Social Media Marketing Manager, you will help to grow our brand and platform by building social campaigns. You will contribute by translating business objectives into social media strategies that build and move communities. You will connect with creators and demonstrate excellent creative instincts for content to help discern what fits into the YouTube strategy and voice. You will work closely with designers and analysts to develop thought out, nimbly developed, and beautifully crafted content.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in marketing, consulting, or social media.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, developing social media and influencer marketing strategies into integrated marketing campaigns.
- Ability to speak and write in Portuguese and English fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience managing social media communities on a variety of platforms.
- Knowledge of Internet culture and usage of social media.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, present key findings, and apply findings to future programs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent project management, multitasking, editing, quantitative, and qualitative skills.
