Responsibilities :
- Lead and deliver design projects of large scale and/or ambiguous scope
- Turn broad, conceptual ideas into something useful and valuable to billions of users
- Design processes and experiences that simplify complex actions and distill them into easy-to-use interfaces
- Design new experiences and layouts that evolve and define visual systems
- Drive strategic decisions about the future direction of WhatsApp
- Continuously raise the bar for quality, providing feedback and guidance from designers and the broader product team
- Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content strategists to oversee the product user experience from concept to launch
- Experience building, shipping, and running applications and software that are large scale and/or ambiguous in scope and encompass end-to-end experiences across a variety of platforms
- Experience with interaction design and knowledge of how experiences should work based on an understanding of people's needs and considerations for scaling this innovation
- Use appropriate prototyping tools to demonstrate how specific flows and interactions work
- Visual design experience with knowledge of typography, desktop/mobile interfaces, color, layout, iconography, aesthetics, and how these elements impact product functionality
- Experience playing a key role in setting goals and direction to achieve the vision of a successful product, making decisions to achieve common goals based on impact on people and the business
- Experience representing work to broader product teams and other executives, expressing goals and concepts clearly and concisely
