About the Scholarship

Eligibility: General Criteria

• Must have secured offer letter of admission from Taylor’s University
• May use forecast/trial/actual result to apply
• Holding result of any institute in Malaysia
• Achievement(s) in competition and position held in clubs/society/institution/events will be an added advantage

 

Eligibility: Academic Criteria

• STPM: Minimum CGPA 3.75 in 3 subjects
• UEC: 10 points and below in 5 subjects, and must include 5Bs with mininimum B4 in English or IELTS Band 6.0
• Foundation/Diploma/Matriculation: Minimum CPGA 3.80
• A-Levels: 15 points & above
• ATAR: Minimum 90
• Ontario/MUFY: 90% & above
• IB: Minimum 30

 

Assessment

• 1st Round: Panel Assessment
• 2nd Round: Video / Virtual interview with Corporate Partner

 

Award

• Full Scholarship and Internship / Trainee Programme

Students interested in pursuing their Master’s / PhD’s studies at Taylor’s University in any of our postgraduate research programmes may apply for the Postgraduate Scholarship.

This award is offered to support research in all areas of studies in the University and to instill excellent values amongst postgraduate students academically and socially.

Award recipients are expected to devote their efforts to research and publishing articles as well as participating in University events and activities and getting engaged in various non-academic activities like community activism, charity work or educational services.

Scheme A - PhD

Entitlement

• 100% tuition fee waiver for a maximum of 36 months (full-time study)
• 100% thesis examination fee waiver

• Monthly stipend of RM 2,300
• Conference allowance of RM 3,000

*All the other fees are covered except  for enrolment and visa-related fees

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA ≥ 3.33 and Master’s Degree (Coursework / Mixed mode) with CGPA ≥ 3.50 or by Research mode from any recognised local/foreign university

• An applicant with publication in Citation Indexed Journal (CIJ) will have an added advantage
