Open Call for ASEAN Youth Economic Forum (AYEF) 2023 Volunteers

ASEAN Youth Organization is looking for passionate volunteers for ASEAN Youth Economic Forum 2023!

ASEAN Youth Economic Forum 2023 with the theme of “Advancing ASEAN-Japan Cooperation: Promoting A Resilient and Sustainable Economy in ASEAN and Japan Through Circular Economy” is a flagship program of the ASEAN Youth Organization in cooperation with the AEM-METI (ASEAN Economic Ministers and the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan) Economic and Industrial Cooperation Committee (AMEICC). This 5-days forum will invite participants composed of 20 to 30 ASEAN young professionals, policymakers, researchers, economists, and/or university students and aims to bring together the participating local, national and regional stakeholders to an in-person gathering in Jakarta to learn, discuss and formulate circular economy policy recommendations.

Make sure you meet the criteria:

1. Indonesian youths aged 15-35 years old
2. Domicile in Jakarta, Indonesia would be an advantage
   
3. Able to work in teams and exhibit flexibility and good social skills
4. Able to start volunteering from 1 February 2023 - 31 March 2023 and attend the event on-site from 16 - 21 March 2023
5. Able to allocate minimum 3 hours/Week during the volunteering period
6. Experienced in event organizing and good management skills
7. Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
8. Able to work remotely using WhatsApp, Google Suites, Zoom Meeting and Telegram
9. Youth with disabilities is encouraged to apply

What we cover:

1. Meals during the program
2. Appreciation Pack (Special Merchandise)
3. Local Transport Allowance (1 time)

Exclude:

1. Hotel
2. Flight Ticket (If you are from outside Jakarta, Indonesia)

Position open:

Program Division Volunteers

Task: Manage the timeline and rundown of the program agenda and coordinate the event

Liaison Officers Division Volunteers

Task: Liaise and assist the AYEC 2023 speakers and delegates

Communication Volunteers

Task: Support and manage social media materials

Rapporteur Volunteers

Task: Provide administrative support and take detailed session notes as a note-taker during sessions
