Requirements
Citizens from certain Pacific countries have two options for tertiary scholarships. Scholars who qualify can choose to study at a New Zealand or a Pacific university. Note: Scholars from Cook Islands have their own scholarships, which are managed by the Cook Islands Ministry of Education and funded by the New Zealand Government. Note: Scholars from Tokelau can only apply for Short Term Training Scholarships.

2. The Canadian International Development Scholarship
The Canadian International Development Scholarships 2030 (BCDI 2030) program offers high-quality education and training in Canada, including vocational and technical programs. Its goal is to improve access to higher education and help build social and economic growth in the 26 countries that are part of the BCDI 2030 initiative. This eight-year program, running from 2022 to 2030, is supported by Global Affairs Canada and is designed to match the specific needs of each partner country. It focuses on areas that align with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The main aim of the program is to reduce inequality and help participants and their communities improve their quality of life. Around 600 scholars from these partner countries will receive scholarships to study and train in Canada, with at least 51% of them being women. The BCDI 2030 Scholars will gain skills, knowledge, and experience that will help them succeed in their careers and become leaders in their communities. After returning home, they will work to support the social and economic progress of their countries.

3. Indonesia KNB Scholarship
The Kemitraan Negara Berkembang Scholarship, commonly referred to as the KNB Scholarship, is a financial aid program provided by the Indonesian Government for international students from developing countries who wish to study for a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree at a university in Indonesia. This scholarship was introduced during the 10th Conference of Heads of State of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) countries, which took place from September 1st to 6th, 1992. The Indonesian Government started offering the scholarship to students from NAM member countries the following year. In 2002, the scholarship's exclusivity to regional countries was removed due to growing global interest. It was then officially named the Kemitraan Negara Berkembang Scholarship (KNB), and the eligibility was expanded to include students from other developing countries. Today, the scholarship is available to students from developing nations in Asia, the Pacific, South America, Africa, and Eastern Europe.
The main goal of the KNB Scholarship is to foster better people-to-people ties between Indonesia and the recipient countries and to help develop future leaders. It provides students with the opportunity to study at top universities in Indonesia while living in a diverse and vibrant society. Through this scholarship, students can access quality academic programs offered by 34 university partners, which are designed to improve their knowledge, build their skills, and open up more career opportunities, helping them succeed after graduation. They will also get the chance to experience life in a multicultural and multilingual environment. In 2025, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, along with the 34 KNB Scholarship host universities, will accept around 200 applicants for the scholarship, including those awarded for Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral programs.

4. Netherlands NL Scholarship
This scholarship is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, along with several Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. The amount of the scholarship is €5,000, which you will receive during your first year of study. It's important to note that this scholarship does not cover all tuition fees. operation criteria: Your nationality is not from the European Economic Area. You are applying for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s programme at one of the Dutch higher education institutions that take part in the scheme. You meet the specific entry requirements of the institution you have chosen. You can find these requirements on the institution’s website. You do not have a degree from a Dutch education institution.

5. Danish Government Scholarship
Danish universities get a limited number of government scholarships every year to support highly qualified students who are doing full-degree courses from countries outside the EU, EEA, or Switzerland. To be eligible for a scholarship, you must be a citizen of a country that is not part of the EU, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland, and you need to be enrolled in a full-degree higher education program. You also need to have a residence permit in Denmark that is valid for a certain period of time because of your education. You are not eligible for a Danish government scholarship if you are not from one of these countries or if you don't meet these conditions.

6. Oman Government Scholarship
External and internal scholarships play an important role in helping the Sultanate grow economically. The Oman Government wants students to study subjects that are needed in the local job market. One way to do this is by providing internal and external scholarships that allow students to study in higher education institutions, both inside and outside Oman. These scholarships support students at different levels of study. 7. Greenland IASC Fellowship Program
The IASC Fellowship Program started in 2014 and aims to involve early career researchers in the work of the IASC Working Groups. These groups are: Atmosphere, Cryosphere, Marine, Social & Human, and Terrestrial. Every year, one Fellow is selected for each Working Group. Also, each year at least one early career Arctic Indigenous Scholar or Knowledge Holder is chosen. This person can decide which IASC Working Group they want to work with. IASC Fellows are usually doctoral or postdoctoral researchers who take part in the activities of their chosen IASC Working Group. They are expected to contribute to science, help organize events, and assist with reporting to the IASC Secretariat. The Fellowship Program gives early career scientists the chance to take part in advanced scientific work across the Arctic and internationally. It also helps them build a global network and improve their management skills.
The level of involvement depends on the Fellow’s interest – the more they put in, the more they gain. The IASC Fellowship Program lasts for 1+2 years. First Year: Fellows get travel support to attend two consecutive Arctic Science Summit Weeks, where the annual IASC Working Group meetings take place.Second and Third Year (optional): Fellows can continue working with their IASC Working Group for up to two more years without getting extra funding from IASC. Important Note: The only financial support Fellows receive during the Fellowship is the travel assistance provided in the first year. There is no salary included during the Fellowship.

8. Malta Government Scholarship
Post-doctoral research is becoming more and more important for a country's economy and society. This postgraduate research will lead to increased investment in human resources, especially in new job markets like green energy, digital technologies, STEM fields, smart specialization, innovation, and other areas that address the changing needs and challenges faced by Maltese society, aligning with the country's national goals. Erasmus+ offers such opportunities to students, staff, trainees, teachers, volunteers, and more. Students can study or get work experience in another European country while they are working on their degree. It's not just for Europe or Europeans either — with Erasmus+, people from all around the world can take part in opportunities.
Since 2004, over 1,200 Indonesian students have received scholarships through the EU's Erasmus+ program. In 2016, over 160 Indonesian students received scholarships through the European Union's Erasmus+ program, which was a 40% increase compared to the previous year. Students went to different countries in the European Union to study for a bachelor's, master's, doctorate, or post-doctorate degree, either completing full programs or participating in short-term exchange opportunities. Most students and scholars participated in the International Mobility schemes, with some studying at least two different universities in two different European countries.
By the end of 2016, nearly 6,000 Indonesian students were studying in Europe, including those who paid for their own education, which was three times more than the number in 2011. In total, nearly 9,000 Indonesian students are currently studying in Europe.

10. Stefan Banach NAWA Poland Scholarship
